Official GFC dealer for Nevada. Lightweight platform campers and toppers built for trucks that actually go off-road. In stock at our Reno location.
Aluminum and composite construction — exceptionally durable, minimal weight, and designed to handle rough roads and backcountry terrain.
Go Fast Campers (GFC) has built one of the most dedicated followings in the truck camping and overlanding world, and for good reason. Their platform campers and toppers are designed from the ground up for people who actually use their trucks hard — lightweight, low-profile, and built to handle the kind of terrain and conditions that would expose the limitations of a traditional fiberglass shell or heavy hard-side camper. We are the official GFC dealer for Nevada, we keep units in stock at our Reno location, and we can special order any configuration in the lineup.
The GFC Platform Camper is the product that put Go Fast Campers on the map. It sits low on the truck, adds minimal weight compared to a traditional truck camper, and opens into a full sleeping platform with a weatherproof tent system when you're at camp. The aluminum and composite construction is exceptionally durable — these are built to take abuse on rough roads without the weight penalty of steel or the fragility concerns of fiberglass. For overlanders and backcountry travelers who want to sleep in their truck without committing to the size and weight of a traditional camper, the Platform Camper is one of the best solutions available anywhere at any price.
The GFC Topper is a hardshell truck cap built to the same philosophy as the Platform Camper — aluminum construction, clean profile, and designed specifically for trucks that go off-road rather than just trucks that look like they might. It's more capable than a traditional fiberglass shell in rough conditions and substantially lighter than most comparable hard-top options. Popular with owners who want a clean, durable topper for daily use and weekend adventures without the bulk of a full camper setup.
GFC builds a strong accessories ecosystem around their products — roof racks, lighting mounts, storage solutions, and more. We carry GFC accessories and can spec and install a complete setup around your Platform Camper or Topper. If you've purchased a GFC elsewhere or already own one and want to build it out further, bring it in and we'll work with what you have.
We keep Go Fast Campers units on hand at our Reno location — one of the few dealers in the region that does. If you want to see one in person, compare it against other shell and camper options, or take delivery the same week rather than waiting on a factory order, come in. We can also special order any configuration or color if what you're looking for isn't on the floor.
GFC builds their campers to fit specific truck platforms and bed lengths — fitment is not universal. The most common applications are mid-size trucks like the Tacoma and full-size short and long bed configurations. Come in or call with your year, make, model, and bed length and we'll confirm fitment before you get too far into the conversation.
The GFC Platform Camper is significantly lighter and lower-profile than a traditional hard-side truck camper, which means less impact on your truck's handling, payload, and fuel economy. The tradeoff is living space — the GFC is a sleeping and weather platform, not a residential camper with a kitchen and bathroom. For buyers who prioritize trail capability and simplicity over amenities, it's a better fit than a traditional camper. For buyers who want a full living setup, a hard-side camper is the right direction. We carry both and can help you think through which fits how you actually camp.
Yes. The GFC Topper in particular is designed for full-time use as a daily driver shell. The Platform Camper can also live on the truck full time — many owners run it year-round. The aluminum construction handles UV exposure, temperature swings, and daily use better than fiberglass over the long term.
